Many of us engage in mundane everyday tasks that honestly, just make us tired. You have stress from your life, your family life may not be going great or maybe life is on a horizontal progression that is just not exciting at all.

Yet, the truth of the matter is that you hold the key to your happiness. And your happiness may come from simply taking some time to find out what excites you thus unleashing your creativity. When you unleash your creativity, you find new ways of doing things, you never know, it could be a path to a career change, for instance, if you like everything to do with beauty, you could open a salon or a barber shop, just by letting yourself explore that part of your creativity.

There is no rule book to unleashing your creativity, all you need to do is pause, take a deep breath and just let go of everything that is holding you back.

Take a few minutes to observe everything around you with a new eye. Allowing yourself to see things from a new perspective will change how you think and behave. It will also make you open to exploring new things in life while discarding those that may have not worked in the past.

Make some time for yourself.

We have very busy lives but, it is important to occasionally make yourself less busy. This means that you prioritize, the things that are not very important can take a back seat so that you have more free time to think about and explore new ways of doing things. You will be surprised at how busy we get when we're running around yet achieve so little at the end of the day.

Take things slowly.

Sometimes, we are in such a rush to get nowhere. Everything seems to have such urgency; whether it is getting ahead in life, making money, getting into a relationship amongst other things. How about you take a breath, and take things slowly. Take time to get to the next level, make money less important in your life so that you can enjoy the other facets of life, do not rush into relationships only for them not to work out, because you did not take time to know the person. Take your time and let things work out in their own time.

Discard the rules.

Occasionally be like a little child who lives their life without any rules. While we are in no way saying that you should break the rules, it would be nice to occasionally just let go and stop being such sticklers for the rules. For example, if you've always wanted to dance in the rain, then do it occasionally, do not concern yourself with what other people say or think.

Your potential to be creative will come from the most unlikely sources and it requires you to be willing to take the chance to learn something new, as well as to focus on what engages you and gives you the most satisfaction. Do not be afraid to try something new.
