VinFast IRONMAN World Women's Championship, October 13–15, 2023, Hawaii (Kona Coast)

A challenging 2.4-mile swim, a 112-mile bike ride, and a 26.2-mile marathon are all completed by the competitors. Aloha Shirt Festival, Hawaii, October 13–15, 2023 (Outrigger Kona Resort and Spa)
The Aloha Shirt Festival, which is held at the Outrigger Kona Resort and Spa, is the equivalent of Fashion Week in Kona. It honoured the aloha shirt, a renowned fashion staple from Hawaii while highlighting the textile sector in the area. This vivacious event features the most recent works by local artists, including men's and women's clothing, traditional aloha attire, and cutting-edge wearable arts and crafts. A vintage Aloha Wear display, exclusive kiosks from regional designers, runway-inspired fashion demonstrations, and a unique exhibition of wearable flower artistry are also available to attendees.
The 13th Annual Hawai'i Food and Wine Festival will take place on the island of O'ahu from October 20–November 5, 2023.
This gourmet series brings together renowned chefs from Hawaii and all around the world each year, as well as notable culinary personalities and wine and spirit connoisseurs. It showcases Hawaii's rich tapestry of varied cuisines and the top ingredients grown and nurtured locally. It spans three islands (with Maui's event being rescheduled to Spring 2025). The Gathering of the Voyagers (Maui), October 15, 2023
This three-day celebration of Polynesian and Hawaiian history, organised by the Fairmont Kea Lani in partnership with the Hawaiian Outrigger Canoe Voyaging Society, brings together renowned travellers, accomplished navigators, master canoe carvers, and practitioners from all parts of the world. The celebration includes time-honoured rituals, engaging performances, a bustling mkeke (marketplace), live music, and a group trip around the offshore islet of Molokini. This public event is free to attend and is held at the Fairmont Kea Lani resort.
The Kauai Chocolate and Coffee Festival takes place on October 15, 2023.
An annual cuisine festival is held in the quaint mediaeval town of Hanapp on the west coast of the island. This beautiful celebration of Kaua'i-grown goods, with a concentration on chocolate and coffee, provides plenty of opportunities for samples. Attendees of the festival can also peruse exhibits featuring a variety of chocolate and coffee goods, take part in workshops, enjoy entertainment, and study educational exhibits. The Honolulu Pride Parade is the highlight of a daylong spectacular that serves as the largest LGBTQIA community gathering in Hawaii. Starting at Magic Island in Ala Moana Beach Park and ending at Kapi'olani Park, this colourful procession makes its way through Walk.
