Use Of Air Conditioning In The Workplace
Three-quarters of all homes in Perth requires Air condition installation perth.
It costs the average family $29 billion each year to run their air conditioning. As a result, over 96 million metric tons of carbon dioxide are emitted annually.
Refrigerators and air conditioners operate on the same principles and share many of the same components. It takes energy to carry heat from a refrigerator's cold inside your home; similarly, an air conditioner takes energy to send heat from your home's interior into the comparatively warm surroundings outside
The evaporator, or cold internal coil, of an air conditioner, cools your home. The condenser, a heated outside coil, dissipates the heat built up inside the device. Aluminum fins encircle the serpentine tubing that makes up the evaporator and condenser coils. Copper tubing is commonly used for this.
Condenser and evaporator fluids are pumped by a compressor (or refrigerant). Refrigerant is forced through the coils by the pump. In the home's evaporator coil, the liquid refrigerant evaporates to remove heat from the air and chill it.
Flowing outside, the condenser's metal tube and fins cool and condense the heated refrigerant gas, releasing its heat into the outside air.
Throughout the second half of the twentieth century, chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) were employed as refrigerators in nearly all air conditioners. Nonetheless, because these chemicals damage the Earth's ozone layer, CFC production in the United States was phased down in 1995. Nowadays, halogenated chlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs) are often used as refrigerants in air conditioning systems.
Beginning in 2010, R-22 (also known as HCFC-22) was the latest HCFC to be phased out, with a target date of 2020 for it to be eliminated.
There are no plans to phase down HCFC-22, although obsolete systems will be dismantled and repurposed for many years.
Ammonia and other ozone-friendly hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) are likely to replace these refrigerants as they are phased out.
Switching to high-efficiency air conditioners and taking other steps to keep your home cool can reduce your air conditioning energy consumption by 20% to 50%. For more information on air conditioners and how to keep them in working order, go to:
