Vedolizumab is an integrin receptor antagonist drug. This medicine is advised in the treatment of Adult Ulcerative Colitis and Adult Crohn's Disease. It is sold under the trade name of Entyvio. The standard strength of 300 mg comes in the form of single-use vials.
Vedolizumab 300 mg is a sterile, white to off-white, preservative-free, lyophilized cake for intravenous infusion solution. It is a humanized IgG1 monoclonal antibody that is produced in Chinese hamster ovary cells. Vedolizumab is the active ingredient, and inactive ingredients are L-histidine, L-histidine monohydrochloride, L-arginine hydrochloride, sucrose, and polysorbate 80.
