The Russian Dota 2 team Virtus.pro received a personal invitation from the organizers of the Super Dimensional Vision Snow Ruyi tournament in this discipline to take part in the competition.
The tournament will take place from July 28 to August 4 from the Olympic Village in China. It was previously reported that 12 groups from different countries would play in it, but only the first six of them, mostly Chinese, were revealed.
Previously, Virtus.pro failed to qualify for the playoffs of the Europe League 2024 tournament, which was a big disappointment for the team. However, in the Chinese Olympic Village they will have a chance to take a big piece of the $500,000 pie. This is exactly the amount of the prize fund for this tournament.
It is known that players from the Natus Vincere team will also appear from Eastern Europe at these competitions.
