The Volkswagen Virtus comes with two types of petrol engines that follow the BS6 Phase 2 emission standards. One is a 1.0-liter engine, and the other is a 1.5-liter engine.
The 1.0-liter engine produces 114 horsepower and 178 Newton-meters of torque. You can choose between a six-speed manual transmission and a six-speed automatic transmission for this engine.
The 1.5-liter engine is more powerful, with 148 horsepower and 250 Newton-meters of torque. It only comes with a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox; there's no option for a manual gearbox with this engine.
