Priority Migration Skilled Occupations List – New occupations added in June 2022

To meet the state’s demand for skilled migration, Western Australia has raised the number of occupations eligible for migration by almost 60% for 2022–2023. Both Schedule 1 (WASMOL Schedule 1) and Schedule 2 (WASMOL Schedule 2) of the Western Australian Skilled Migration Occupation List (WASMOL) have been updated.

A waiver of the $200 application feeThe removal of the requirement to show enough funds for the WA State nominationReduced English requirements for applicants at the Manager and Professional occupation level to the “competent” level of EnglishNew occupations have been added to the Western Australian Skilled Migration Occupation List Schedule 1 and 2.
