WBJEE 2021: West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) is conducted by the WBJEE Board. It is a state-level exam. The interested candidates must submit the application form on time to apply. In addition, note that it is important that each applicant satisfies the eligibility conditions. Moreover, through this exam, admission is granted to UG programme in the field of Pharmacy, Engineering & Technology, and Architecture. The selected candidates further are admitted to Govt. colleges, universities, and self-financed institutes of the West Bengal state. Note that only the students who submit the form on time are eligible to sit for WBJEE 2021 Exam. The admit card is issued to students who submit the form successfully. WBJEE 2021 Eligibility Criteria
The WBJEE eligibility criteria prescribed by the WBJEE Board is as follows:
Applicant must be an Indian citizen.
The applicant must be 17 years of age as of 31st December 2021.
Further, there is no upper age limit. However, the candidates who have applied for Marine Engineering must be of 25 years of age as of 31st December 2021.
The Qualification Eligibility for Engineering and Pharmacy varies. Hence, the qualification eligibility for each of the courses is mentioned separately.
For Engineering
Candidate must have 10+2 from a recognized board.
The applicant must have passed the qualifying exam with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. And, anyone from the Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Computer Applications, and Computer Science with 45% marks ( 40% for SC/ ST/ OBC-A/ OBC-B/ PwD Category students).
Applicant must have qualified English with a minimum of 30% marks.
For Pharmacy
Applicant must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board.
The applicant must have passed the qualifying exam with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects. And, anyone from the Mathematics, Biology, Biotechnology, Computer Applications, and Computer Science with 45% marks ( 40% for SC/ ST/ OBC-A/ OBC-B/ PwD Category students).
Applicant must have qualified English with minimum 30% marks.
WBJEE Application Form 2021
The online registration is the first stage of the admission process. Candidates wanting to appear for the exam must submit their WBJEE 2021 Application Form on time. Moreover, the application is released via online mode. To ensure that the students do not face any difficulty, the complete application procedure is explained below.
How to Fill the WBJEE 2021 Registration Form?
Visit the WBJEEB Official Website - www.wbjeeb.nic.in
Enter the asked credentials to register successfully.
Then log in using the registration ID and Password and start filling the application form.
In the next step, candidates need to upload the scanned images of the asked documents. The images must be uploaded as per the prescribed specifications.
The payment portal appears as soon as you click on continue after uploading the documents.
After a successful payment, the confirmation page appears on the screen. Take a printout of it for future reference.
Application Fee
The WBJEE Application Fee is Rs. 500 + Bank Service Charges
Moreover, the payment can be done through Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking. Candidates can also pay via offline mode through E-Challan of Allahabad Bank.
