Lost Ark(opens in new page) players Lost Ark Gold playing from Australia and New Zealand are flocking to the official forums of the game for a chance to ask Amazon for servers that are specific to their region due to latency issues and lengthy queues for servers.
The requests for an Oceania server region started in November 2021, several months prior to Lost Ark's global launch. In a thread title "Please Reconsider Oceania Servers"(opens in new tab) user ooglydit wrote "While I'm very appreciative of the work AGS has put into getting the region-lock removed for Australia & New Zealand, having a dedicated server exclusively for our region would go by leaps and bounds towards making games more entertaining for us." The principal reason for the request was concerns about high speeds when connecting to distant servers. "As the situation is we have only two options, which are EU/NA/NA, we're considering either -250 ping for NA or -300 to EU."
It appears that Ooglydit's concerns were well-founded. As of the time of writing this it, the plea of Oceania servers is the most popular thread on the Lost Ark forums, with over 3,000 respondents adding to the need for a region-specific server and the number is growing. As players were concerned, the high speed of connection to distant servers can negatively impact the game experience. "I know I'm not experiencing the pleasure of my work since the delay between animation and impact/result puts an imperceptible damper on the whole thing," writes user Poppleop. Meanwhile, Rigeth notes the fact that high ping puts Oceania players at a disadvantage during PvP. "It's not uncommon for the majority of Australians to stay around 203ms which means that when we are in PVP and face anyone with 18ms, or higher, we'll usually lose 1v1", they point out.
Lost Ark: How To Ping
Fighting in video games can be chaotic, even when playing with just one player. When they are an MMO with tens of thousands of players the chaos and intensity increase exponentially. To mitigate this, players require good communication.

"While certain builds might focus your attention on one weapon, an effective Glaivier can maximize their effectiveness by establishing balance between the two stances and gaining energy from one that provides an impactful stat-boost when swapping with an other,"reads the blog post. A brand new continent also coming this month: South Vern, a "once-barren land" that's now "of plentiful waters and lush pastures". buy Lost Ark Gold will be the second Tier 3 continent, filled with new characters and quests.
