What are mechanical mods and their components?

Mechanical mods are technically advanced yet simple vape mods designed in a way that delivers raw battery power to the atomizers.

The build of mech mods are very simple with a few parts. Here are the mech vape mods components.

Battery Housing

Mechanical mods has battery housing available mostly in metal form, eventhough plastic and wooden mech mods are also plentily available. The metal tube form comes with one battery while latter has more cells.

Positive and Negative Contacts

Positive connection of the mechanical mods is on the drip tip. While, the negative connection is connected to a string behind the power button

A Button or Switch

When the button is turned on, it shuts the electric circuit. To avoid accidental fire, most tube mech mods feature recessed buttons or built-in locks (for when not in use).

510 Connection

The 510 connection can be found in the top cap of a tube mod or on the top of a mechanical mod box. It's electrical threading that connects the atomizer to the mod. The male end of the 510 connection is made by an atomizer, while the female end is made by a mod. Both the mod and the atomizer have positive copper or brass pins inside the threadings. For electricity delivery, they communicate with one another.
