If you have to do something that will cause stress, make sure you do it early in the day to have time to rest and relax before going off for work or school!Get Enough Sunshine: Sunshine is very important for our health so try to get outside at least once a day and soak up some sunshine. You can also go outside in the morning or afternoon when the sun is not as strong if you are not a big fan of direct sunlight. Drink Water: Drinking water is also very important because it keeps your body hydrated and healthy, improving cognitive function! Make sure you drink about eight glasses of water a day! 9. Eat Healthy Fats: Healthy fats are also very important because they help improve brain function and keep your heart healthy! Some good sources of healthy fats are avocados, nuts (almonds), seeds (flax), fish oil, etc...Avoid Sugar And Processed Foods: Sugar can be detrimental to our cognitive skills so try to avoid sugar as much as possible by eating foods that are not processed such as fruits/vegetables that haven't been processed into juice or other products like cereal, etcRelaxing is also very important for your cognitive skills because it allows the body to rest and relax. Try doing relaxation exercises such as yoga, meditation, deep breathing, or stretching!
