WHAT IS VILAZINE 20MG TABLET
VILAZINE 20MG TABLET contains Vilazodone which belongs to the group of medicines called Antidepressants. It is indicated for the treatment of major depressive disorder.
VILAZINE 20MG TABLET should be used with caution in pregnant, breast-feeding women and elders above 65 years of age. VILAZINE 20MG TABLET is not recommended in children and adolescents below 18 years of age. Consult with your doctor before taking VILAZINE 20MG TABLET.

HOW VILAZINE 20MG TABLET WORKS
VILAZINE 20MG TABLET works by inhibiting the reuptake of a brain chemical called serotonin, thus, increasing the level of serotonin which helps in regulating the mood. Thus, helps in the symptomatic relief of depressive disorder.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Take VILAZINE 20MG TABLET as advised by your doctor. VILAZINE 20MG TABLET should be swallowed along with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. Your doctor will decide the proper dose and duration for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition.

Diarrhoea
Nausea or vomiting
Trouble sleeping
Mania/hypomania: elevated or irritated mood, decreased need for sleep, racing thoughts
Signs of seizures such as loss of consciousness along with uncontrollable shaking
Glaucoma (increased pressure in the eyes, eye pain and blurred vision)
Signs of low sodium level in blood such as tiredness, weakness, confusion, combined with achy, stiff or uncoordinated muscles.
