WHAT IS ZOFER 8MG TABLET

ZOFER 8MG TABLET contains Ondansetron, which belongs to a group of medicines called Anti-emetics. It is used to treat and prevent nausea and vomiting induced by chemotherapy or radiotherapy. ZOFER 8MG TABLET is also used after surgeries (operation) to prevent nausea and vomiting.Before taking ZOFER 8MG TABLET, inform your doctor if you have severe constipation, heart or liver problems, imbalance with the levels of salts in the blood, such as potassium, sodium and magnesium or if you have been scheduled for any surgery.

HOW ZOFER 8MG TABLET WORKS

ZOFER 8MG TABLET is a serotonin 5-HT3 receptor antagonist (specific chemical receptor) which works by blocking serotonin receptors in CTZ chemoreceptor trigger zone (zone in the brain that is responsible for causing nausea and vomiting).

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Take ZOFER 8MG TABLET as advised by your physician. It can be taken with or without food.For Tablet, Capsule: Swallow ZOFER 8MG TABLET with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine.For Dispersible Tablet: Disperse the medicine in the specified quantity of water as mentioned in the label. Consume the medicine immediately after reconstitution.
