From the beginning of the pandemic, most work environments switched to working remotely or rather working from home. Though we all love working from home and it has its own perks, but as the duration of work from home is increasing, the excitement of working or living “normally” is fading away. Workers are missing Socialization and being in touch with people ad reality. While most of us out here are just buying Women’s Unique T-shirts and getting on work video calls with colleagues, all of us would like to get some work-personal life balance and get on with our lives.

People have opted to get dressed up to work from home to feel a sense of normalcy again and it’s actually working to get some balance and energy back. Here’s why you should dress up to work from home:

1. To maintain Work-Life balance

Putting up a fresh pair of clothes, be it formals, semi-formals or casuals or just Women’s Unique T-shirts before work and then changing out of what feels like work clothes then getting in your home clothes or loungewear, helps you maintain the work mindset and then home mindset, maintaining some sort of work-life boundaries and thus, balance.

2.  Establishing a routine

Going to the office for work had you going in a routine and everyone needs a routine in their life to keep them going. If you wake up every morning and make dressing up a task, it would help you pull off a routine of dressing up and then getting into home clothes after you’re done with the work. So, wake up daily, pull on some women’s unique T-shirts and get into a routine.

3.  Sense of Normalcy

Dressing up and then dressing down gives you a sense of normalcy amongst everything going on. It follows your old patterns from when you used to work from the office and helps you not losing your sanity at home.

4.  Keeps you ready for impromptu video calls

If you look presentable the whole day, you won’t have to worry about changing out of your loungewear or the baggy T-shirt you’re in the whole day when an impromptu video call gets scheduled. It actually helps you save a lot of time, especially if your work involves a lot of video conferencing or impromptu meetings over Teams.
