Pediatric physiotherapists spend time with children and their devices doing routine activities to improve their movement and mobility after illness, or accidents. There are a variety of places where pediatric physical therapy in Chicago can work, such as clinics, schools, rehabilitation facilities, or hospitals. Others may travel to the patient's home for therapy sessions. Some pediatric physical therapists treat a patient's injuries or physical injuries by attaching prostheses or other assistive devices and teaching them how to work with these items.
