1603 Fatal Error During Installation

If one of these conditions is true, you may get this error message.

1. Encryption is used to protect the folder where you are trying install Windows Installer.

2. As the replacement drive, you can access the drive that contains the folder where you are trying to install Windows Installer.

3. You are trying to install Full Control Windows Installer packages using the SYSTEM account. If none of the above works for you, then please follow this guide:

1) Double-click on "This PC", on your desktop.

2) Right-click the drive you wish to install the program, and choose "(right-click] Properties." (Select)"

3) Click the "Security tab" and then click the "Edit" button.

4) Click "OK" after you have checked "Allow", "Full Control", and "Allow", under the username "System", under the heading "Allow".

Method 3: Restart Windows Installer Service

1. Use Windows Key + R to type services.msc, then press Enter.
