Shorter Naps
Especially in younger children, you may want to limit how long they nap, if at all. Most children stop napping between 3 and 5 years old, so if your child is over 5, cut down naps to no more than 20 minutes and no later than early afternoon. Longer, later naps can make it harder to fall asleep at night.
White Noise Machines
