A lot of Mut 23 coins third parties as well as Sony has embraced the concept that annualized franchises are a good idea. Why why hasn't Microsoft explored the idea more?

I'm not an avid believer in annualizing franchises only for the purpose that they are annualized. It sounds like a profit maximization strategy. We're about quality over quantity. It's not about how many games you create, but how well the games perform. In Microsoft's press conference I spoke about the fact that between the years 2022-2022 Microsoft Game Studios' collection of PC and console games dominated the market. This is what you'll have to perform in order to generate genuine excitement about the console and convince players that, when they're ready to move to the next generation, Xbox 360 is the only option. Yes, there's an option to simply release annual updates however that won't prove to be effective for us.

Are you found that the titles Microsoft has created specifically for the Japanese market, such as Blue Dragon, gained the popularity you'd hoped for?

We're very happy with the work we've achieved in Japan this time around. The partnership with Sakaguchi-san was a significant decision for our company. This is in line with our overall strategy which is to collaborate with the top creative talent around the world, no matter where they may be. Sakaguchi certainly deserves to be included on the list.

We're very pleased about Blue Dragon and how it's helped us in Japan. I'm sure Blue Dragon to be successful in the West too. The only thing that is making a difference for us, as well as our overall Xbox 360 leadership in this generation -- is getting increasingly Japanese publishers to be a part of Xbox 360. You could return to Xbox but that was not the situation... Resident Evil coming to Xbox 360 is an enormous improvement. There's never been a Resident Evil on cheap madden 23 coins an Xbox platform.
