Today, logging in has become the default entry point for almost every product.
Accounts, passwords, verification codes, permissions, synchronization—
these mechanisms are necessary for platform-style products, but they don’t belong in every tool.
For instant needs like file conversion and format processing,
logging in is often a friction, not a benefit.
A no-account tool sends a very clear message to users:
- You don’t need to leave any personal information
- Your task matters more than my data collection
- “Use it and leave” is not only allowed, it’s respected
This isn’t anti-business.
It’s about respecting the boundaries of what a tool should be.
Some software is meant to build long-term relationships.
Others only need to do one thing well—within that single minute.
And while looking for ways to improve my own efficiency, I discovered this website:
It lets you convert files into the format you need—quickly and without friction.
