Getting the pets in and outside the country can be a straightforward process with no quarantine in some countries and lengthy and a bit more time taking in another. For example, the rules of Animal delivery service in the US are quite simple and easy to follow than in most other countries. If you plan well and take care of all the documentation and formalities, it can be done easily.

Dog transport

Here are the common requirements you need to adhere to for your dog delivery service.

A veterinarian must issue a health certificate that confirms that your pet is healthy and fit to fly. This certificate must be done within 10 days of travel.A dog must have a microchip. It is important to submit one of the most urgent and essential proofs which is a proof of rabies vaccination. This document holds much more significance if the dog is traveling from a country where rabies is present. The dogs need not be vaccinated if they are less than 3 months. The rabies vaccine must be given at least a month before the travel. So, a puppy can be 4 months before entering the other country. For the US, the rabies certificate must be in English. If not, then it should in the certified English translation. If the rabies vaccine is not translated, then the pet may be sent back to the original country. There are optional vaccines too such as Parvovirus, Distemper, Hepatitis, Para-influenza, and Bordatella. If the dog is from the country with screwworm, then you need a certificate signed by a veterinary office that the dog has been diagnosed with screwworm in the last 5 days of the shipment. The certificate needs to confirm that the dog is free from screwworm. If the dog was infested with screwworm, it was kept in quarantine and is now free from screwworm.

Cats transport

The things needed include:

A health certificate stating that the cat is healthy and fit to fly. This certificate must be done within 10 days of travel.Cats may not need a rabies vaccination certificate.Optional vaccines for the cat include Feline enteritis, Rhinotracheitis, and Calicivirus.

Other Pets

If you want to bring other pets, then the requirements to consider are:All domestic flights do not have the option to carry the pets. The pet owners may consider ground transportation.Check the rules for the country of origin for domestic pet transport and find the export requirements for your case. Many countries need a government endorsement or export permit for the pets to leave the country. There may be a government veterinarian inspection too before the pet flies.
