Drones are less expensive than a fully loaded ambulance.
They can be strategically positioned throughout cities.
They can get to the scene of the emergency much faster than an ambulance.
But heart attack victims aren't the only ones who could benefit from Alec's air-borne defibrillator. He wants his drone to be a "flying medical kit" that can bring an oxygen mask to someone stuck in a fire, an insulin shot to a diabetic, and heat sensors to find skiers buried in avalanches.
