He is eating ramen like a pigeon. He keeps watch over my home and occupies a prominent position atop the kitchen bookcase because, well, why not? Why not make a bird that is extremely prevalent and that most people strive to avoid into a crucial component of your puzzle? Why not discover beauty in the ordinary? "I've held this piece of art for almost five years; it's a reproduction of W.S. Coleman's painting "The Sunny South." My parents gave it to me as a present after purchasing it in an antique store in the early 1990s. They bought it because the young girl in the piece and I both had comparable experiences as children. I decided to place this next to a window with a view of the ocean to mirror the sea view in the artwork itself, which is positioned off to the right of the sculpture. Since I now reside in the sunny South of England, I adore the work's title.

The image is a semi-fictional representation of Chelsea's King's Road as seen from the west. Dant depicts the actual structures and businesses that were there at the time, but the street is devoid of the heavy traffic that normally fills this road. Instead, the street is crowded with kids playing age-old activities like hopscotch, hoops, and skipping rope, some of whom are dressed in the regalia of the genuine neighbourhood schools.
I decided to frame the artwork in a narrow, wooden frame that is gold in colour since it complements the orange tones and the nearby wall lights beautifully. At the moment, it hangs in my dining room and is frequently brought up in discussion.
