Barcelona can be described as a place that offers many unique activities that will make you want to return time and again. It is situated on over the Mediterranean Sea, and famous for Gaudi and other Art Nouveau architecture, Barcelona is among Europe's most trendy cities. Visit barcelona by booking Cheap Flights from Redmond to Barcelona, at lowest price.

Barcelona might be the place that we've tried dipping a toe into but don't let it fool you: Barcelona is not a single-beach paradise. Sand-free expanses and tiny coves sprinkled with Cacti, are just within an hour by train, or less.

Playa de Les Roques

It is located about an hour south of Barcelona, Calella is a coastal town that has two distinct personalities. Take the train R1 and you'll find an elegant promenade lined with palms and an expansive, sandy beach. If you're looking for sunbathing the work we've done here is over. We'll take you to the skilled, Aperol-drenched hands from one of the glistening beach clubs. However, the fun gets even better as you head south towards the hill with the lighthouse. Take the stairs up and you'll be walking along a path. Look down and you'll find be surrounded by tiny coves that are surrounded by pines cacti, as well as the yellow wildflowers. The most beautiful thing you can do.

Nova Icaria and Bogatell

Nova Icaria and Bogatell are close to each other, but we've placed them together as they share a boundary and a certain atmosphere. Get rid of the barceloneta's sangria- and sarong-sellers walking while keeping Frank Gehry's iconic golden fish sculpture to your left, and you'll be able to see areas of sand that are unoccupied. There's plenty of space and plenty of courts for sports and, perhaps most important of all, nobody has ever tried to massage your body in public for more than 10 minutes.

Barceloneta

Barceloneta is the high school jock of beaches. Loud famous, popular and boisterous. The version it has of a buff body? A sand-colored strip that's an eye-catcher. At one end is the metallic, sail-like shape that is the W Hotel, at the other is the dazzling gold fish-like sculpture created by the designer Frank Gehry. When you've reached Barceloneta You're aware of you've arrived. If you're looking for most white sand or the most sparkling waters, you won't get them in Barceloneta. However, it's fun as well as chaotic and an absolute must-see carnival.

Castelldefels

In the evening, Castelldefels is one of the many beaches with wide expanses of dreamy, wide beaches that make you want to walk along the sea, get an animal, and enjoy every evening a walk along the water with your dog. The beach is akin to the outline of a paint brush and doesn't seem to fill with water, even during high season. It's still loved by kitesurfers during May and April and by locals who come after work as well as by families during weekends, and also by Barcelona visitors who've discovered its fame.

Les Casetes del Garraf

At the base of an national park just below a railway line Garraf is a long 380 meters stretch of golden sand that is fine and smooth. It's easy to be impressed by the stunning white huts that stretch across the beach. They were once used to store fishing equipment, today, these stylish cabanas, complete with white picket fences, as well as shutters and green roofs are available for rent. They're also an ideal location for fashion shoots and they have a striking appearance that's been noticed from Soho House, which is renovating the hotel's former location in to Little Beach House Barcelona just right in time for summer 2018.

Gava Mar

The area is about nine miles to the south of Barcelona Gava's beaches are surprisingly beautiful natural terrain. The beach is surrounded by grassy dunes — more than the size of a speed bump, dune-buggy terrain. There are the pine forests to the distant. The water is wavy, but in an enjoyable way, not the slam-dunk kind of way. You can practice your abilities with Magic Wave, a surf school that offers classes in windsurfing, catamaran, and kitesurfing. There are also affordable rental of paddle boards and kayaks.

Ocata Playa

Take a train for 30 minutes away from Barcelona and you're in the city's iconic urban beach, without having to mark your tiny piece of towel land. Ocata is as smooth as a beach could get and is popular for volleyball and rugby events–or in our case it's for reclining in a optimal 180 degrees. Take Ocata by taking the R1 train to Placa Catalunya (toward Mataro, Blanes, or Macanet-Massanes) Once you arrive you arrive at Ocata the beach is much closer than you can cast a line of fishing.
