Some people are born to be legends. Virat Kohli is one of them. This blog post is about the journey from his birth to become a cricketing legend.
He was born on November 5, 1988, in Delhi, India to Prem and Saroj Kohli. His father was a criminal lawyer and his mother was a homemaker. From a young age, Virat showed an interest in cricket and would often play with his brothers in the neighbourhood. He started playing organized cricket at the age of 11 and has never looked back since then!
At the age of 18, Virat made his debut for the Indian Under-19 cricket team. He quickly rose through the ranks and made his senior debut for India in 2008.
Since then, he has gone on to become one of the most successful batsmen in the world. Virat is currently the captain of the Indian national cricket team and is widely regarded as one of the best cricketers in the world.
