The Breaking National Team will depart through Incheon Airport on the afternoon of the 16th to participate in the first round of the Paris Olympic Qualifier Series (OQS, Olympic Qualifier Series).
OQS is the final qualifying competition for the Paris Olympics finals in breaking, sport climbing, skateboarding, and BMX freestyle events.
The first competition will be held in Shanghai, China from the 16th to 19th, and the second competition will be held in Budapest, Hungary from June 20th to 23rd.
The breaking match of the first OQS competition will be held on the 18th and 19th. The preliminaries and round of 32 will be held on the 18th, and the round of 16, quarterfinals, semifinals, and finals will be held on the 19th.
In the finals of the breaking event, which will be held as an official event for the first time at the Paris Olympics, 16 men and women each will compete. Each country can export up to two men and women.
One entry ticket each was given to the male and female winners of the 2023 World Dance Sports Federation (WDSF) Breaking World Championships, and the right to participate was given to the winners of last year's five continental games or continental championships. The remaining 10 tickets for each male and female will be distributed through OQS.
