From January to June, the cumulative export of steel amounted to 58.147 million tons, representing a year-on-year increase of 9.2%.
In June, China imported 470,000 tons of steel, a decrease of 11,000 tons from the previous month, marking a month-on-month drop of 2.3%.
From January to June, the cumulative import of steel amounted to 3.023 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 16.4%.
2. Iron ore
In June, China imported 105.948 million tons of iron ore and its concentrate, an increase of 7.817 million tons from the previous month, marking a month-on-month growth of 8.0%.
From January to June, the cumulative import of iron ore and its concentrate amounted to 592.205 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 3.0%.
3. Coal
In June, China imported 33.037 million tons of coal and lignite, a decrease of 3.003 million tons from the previous month, marking a month-on-month drop of 8.3%.
From January to June, the cumulative import of coal and lignite amounted to 221.702 million tons, representing a year-on-year decrease of 11.1%.
4. Aluminum
In June, China exported 489,000 tons of unwrought aluminum and aluminum products;
from January to June, the cumulative export amounted to 2.918 million tons, down 8.0% year on year.
5. Copper
In June, China imported 464,000 tons of unwrought copper and copper products;
from January to June, China imported 2.633 million tons of unwrought copper and copper products, down 4.6% year on year.
In June, China imported 2.35 million tons of copper ore and concentrate;
from January to June, China imported 14.754 million tons of copper ore and concentrate, representing a year-on-year increase of 6.4%
