Classroom of Elite 2nd Season Episode 3

After watching the last episode my heart is pounding due to the excitement of the situation. As this game of Mafia also known as Werewolf is starting to get serious.

In the last episode, we learned a bit about Karuizawa’s past and it seems she is just a Narcissist. it would be interesting to see how Ayanokoji uses this information in the next episode.

After the special test on the Island, another test start on the cruise ship which was to test their Teamwork, Action, and Thinking. It is a game of Mafia also known as Werewolf. There are 8 groups whose names are based on different planets and each group has 4 class D, 4 class C, 3 class B, and 3 class A Students.

The rules are simple. One member of each team will be chosen as the VIP and other students need to guess who is the VIP.

 There are 5 cases –

Everyone in the group guesses the right VIP and gets 500,000 points.No one guesses correctly and the VIT gets 1,000,000 points.A traitor guesses the identity of the VIP before everyone else. In this case, if the traitor is from a different class he will receive 500,000 points and the traitor’s class will receive +50 class points while the traitor will get nothing.A traitor guesses the identity of the VIP before everyone else. In this case, if the traitor is from a different class he will receive 0 points and the traitor’s class will be penalized -50 class points while the traitor will get 500,000 points.A traitor guesses the identity of the VIP before everyone else. In this case, if the traitor is from the same class the answer will be considered invalid and the test will continue.

Ayanokoji is in a team with Karuizawa, Machida from class A, Ichinose from class B, and Manabe from class C. After the exam began class A already declined to cooperate which made class 1 impossible.

After the discussion session, we come to see Karuizawa getting into trouble with some girls from class C.

At the start of episode  2, we see Kouenji make a calculated guess for his group but no one from class D believes that he actually calculated anything.

We come to know that Karuizawa and Hirata’s relationship is fake as it was staged by Karuizawa such that she could become famous and reduce the chance of her being subjected to bullying as she was bullied for 9 years which left a deep scar on her.

Classroom of Elite Spoilers!!!!! (SPOILER ALERT):

As we saw at the end of episode 2 Karuizawa was entering a room after which Manabe, Rika and their friend entered the room with her.

It seems this was Ayanokoji’s plan all along as after Manabe and her friend come of the room he enters the room to interrogate Karuizawa about her past and her real intensions.

We might also get to know what was Hirata’s reason for helping Karuizawa and something about his past.
