The potential for coco coir production is so large that it has not been fully utilized for productive activities that can increase its added value.

Coconut coir fiber is processed by crushing coconut husk with a crusher machine. The machine cut coconut husk into small pieces. Later on, it is sieved using a coir sieving machine to produce separated fibers. This fiber is twisted with the spinning machine with a diameter size that can be adjusted as needed.

The Steps of Making Wall Photo Rope Frame

Our article this month was about using coconut rope twine. Such an exciting item for me to use because the rope can look very rustic and I love the rustic design. As the challenge was for a friend, I thought a picture frame would be a great item...and how about a group of 3 to hang on the wall?

My first step was to gather the supplies I needed:

Coconut rope (several sizes)Circular polystyreneHot glueMagnetic photo framesStain

Then, I applied hot glue directly to the styrofoam, starting in the center and wrapping the string around itself. Be sure to glue in small sections. It turns out quite heavy, but so easy to do.

For my smaller circle "frame" I decided not to start the string in the middle because I used the larger string and the frame would cover it. Continue winding the rope until you have a full circle. If the circle doesn't look perfectly round when you're done, you can continue wrapping around the outside of the polystyrene area until you reach the string. This happened to me in my two biggest circles and it worked well when I did this. Then add a loop at the top to hang the frames.

In the last step, add the magnetic photo frames on the top and add cute pictures to it. I'm still working on the cute photo part...and maybe I'll add a button to hang the rope. If you want, you can also dye the rope to give it a gray finish. My walls are gray so I thought it would be really cute to stain the big ones...and I like how the frames fit together.

That is how to make coir rope craft. I hope enjoy my article. See you in the next tutorial.
