Cole Palmer joined Chelsea from Manchester City in a deadline-day move in September 2023 for a fee in the region of £42 million. Since joining, Palmer has established himself as one of the main players in Mauricio Pochettino’s set-up.
In 27 appearances for the Blues across competitions, Palmer has scored 12 goals and provided seven assists. He is averaging 0.7 goal contributions per game and will look to add to that tally before the end of the season.
Palmer has scored 10 goals and provided six assists in 21 Premier League games. He also has one assist in the FA Cup, as well as two goals and two assists in the EFL Cup.

Burnley 1–4 Chelsea (10/23) — 1G, 1A
Palmer grabbed his first-ever goal for Chelsea via a penalty in a comfortable 4–1 win at Turf Moor. He also provided an assist for Nicolas Jackson to seal the win.
Chelsea 2–2 Arsenal (10/23) — 1G
Palmer scored his second Chelsea goal from the spot as well, putting his team 1–0 up in the London Derby vs Arsenal.
Tottenham 1–4 Chelsea (11/23) — 1G, 1A
The forward showed his prowess from the spot yet again with a penalty goal to level the contest. He also provided a last-ditch assist for Nicolas Jackson to make it 4–1.
Chelsea 4–4 Manchester City (11/23) — 1G
The Englishman’s fourth goal for the Blues also came from the penalty spot, this time as a key goal to make it 4–4 in the 95th minute.
Manchester United 2–1 Chelsea (12/23) — 1G
Palmer scored the leveller in a narrow defeat against the Red Devils, assisted by Mykhaylo Mudryk.
Chelsea 2–0 Sheffield United (12/23) — 1G, 1A
The forward ran the show against Sheffield, with a seven-minute burst of a goal and an assist between minute 54 to 61 to win the game.
Luton 2–3 Chelsea (12/23) — 2G, 1A
The former City man starred in this game to fire the Blues into a three-goal lead with a brace and an assist for Noni Madueke. They held on to secure the win.
Chelsea 1–0 Fulham (01/24) — 1G
Palmer scored another spot-kick as the only goal of the game to secure the win.
Chelsea 2–4 Wolves (02/24) — 1G
Despite losing in convincing fashion, Palmer got on the scoresheet for a consolation goal.
Crystal Palace 1–3 Chelsea (02/24) — 2A
Palmer provided two assists at the death to help the Blues secure a vital win away from home.
As you can see, Cole Palmer has been a big-game player for Chelsea this season. He has performed against the likes of Arsenal, Manchester City, Manchester United and Spurs, chipping-in with goals and assists alike.
Should the Blues have hopes of winning the EFL Cup final against Liverpool later this month, they will hope that Palmer is at his best.
