The SSC MTS exam is conducted in two major stages:

  1. Computer-Based Examination (CBE) - Paper 1
  2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/Physical Standard Test (PST) (only for Havaldar posts)


1. Computer-Based Exam (Paper 1):

The CBT consists of two sessions with no sectional timing. However, marks scored in Session 2 are considered for final merit.

  • Walking: 1 km in 20 minutes


Physical Standard Test (PST):

Male:

  • Height: 157.5 cm (relaxation for certain categories)
  • Chest: 76 cm (with 5 cm expansion)

Female:

  • Height: 152 cm
  • Weight: 48 kg
