Why Aspire to be a Master Scuba Diver

Being a Master Scuba Diver sets you apart from other divers because of the time and effort involved in earning this rating. This PADI dive program is the highest non-professional level that you can achieve before venturing into professional diving.

Joining the elite group of divers is the ultimate goal of any passionate diver. Did you know that only about 2% of scuba divers around the world achieve this elite rating?

How long does it take to become a Master Scuba Diver

Becoming a Master Scuba Diver is not an easy feat but it's a rewarding journey.

Starting as a beginner and advancing to the next level until you reach the Master Diver qualification is a fulfilling path.

There is no fixed timeframe to achieve this level but you are required to complete the following dive courses:

Open Water

This three-day beginner course provides you with the knowledge and skills that you need to become a PADI-certified diver. This is the starting point of your scuba diving journey.

You will be given access to e-Learning materials that you can study in the comfort of your own home or other convenient places. You can go through them at your own pace so there’s no pressure.

Once you’re done with the e-Learning portion, you can proceed to the fun part of the course which is the in-water training.

After fulfilling the requirements of the course, you will receive a certification from PADI that will allow you to dive to a depth of 60 feet (18m) with a dive buddy.

Advanced Open Water

This three-day dive program will equip you with essential knowledge and skills that will give you the confidence to explore more challenging dive sites in different parts of the world.

After completing the e-Learning part, you can proceed to the in-water sessions.

Advanced Open Water involves five exciting adventure dives that will hone your skills. Get in touch with our dive shop Dubai to learn about the compulsory dives and Specialty program choices.

Course completion will certify you to dive up to a depth of 100 feet (30m) with a dive buddy.

5 PADI Specialty Diver Certifications

Enhance your Master Scuba Diver experience by completing five PADI Specialties based on your interests.

For example, if you are interested to know the different names of fish species, you can take up Fish Identification.

If you want to learn effective techniques to search for objects underwater and how to use a lift bag, you can sign up for Search and Recovery Diver.

Other Specialties that you might find interesting are Underwater Naturalist, Peak Performance Buoyancy, and Deep Dive.

Rescue Diver

This three-day dive course equips you with the theoretical background and scuba skills that will help you handle an underwater emergency. To qualify for this program, you need to have an Emergency First Response (EFR) and at least an Advanced Open Water Diver certification.

50 Logged dives

The last part that you need to become a Master Scuba Diver Dubai is to accumulate enough dive experience.

Logging a minimum of 50 dives will help you build confidence, boost proficiency, and make you totally comfortable in the water. If you need help accumulating more dives, you can join our scuba diving Fujairah.
