There are 23 major medium-sized irrigation projects in various stages of investment worth around Rs 7,000 crore under the ruling of Shri. Nara Chandrababu Naidu by the TDP Government, namely:
Andhra Region:
Janjhavati Project, Pedda Gadda Reservoir, Totapalli Barrage, Tarakarama Tirtha Sagaram, Vamsadhara 1 and 2 Phases, Tatipudi Lift Irrigation, Pushkaram Irrigation, Gundlakamma Reservoir, SS Link Canon, Veligonda Project, Pulichintala Project, Mopadu Tank, Atta Kodala Pond.
Telangana Region:
Kalvakurti Lift Irrigation, Auli Sagar Lift Irrigation, Godavari Gift Irrigation, Bhima Lift Irrigation.
Rayalaseema Region:
Guru Raghavendra Lift Irrigation Polar Channel, Pollard Channel, Koduru, Eduru Channel.
The Construction of projects like Srisailam Gudi Branch Canal, Sriramsagar Phase One and Two, Telugu Ganga, A. Madhavareddy Canal, Priyadarshini Jurala Project, Somashila, Vamsadhara Phase Two, SRSP and Varada Canal are almost complete. 18 medium and 85 small-scale projects have been completed on time by obtaining funds from various financial institutions, actions for speedy completion of projects like Veligonda, Galeru-Nagari, Handri-Neeva, and Nettempadu.
Many of these projects are done on time by the TDP Government. Every news about these Irrigation projects was clearly followed by the people of united Andhra Pradesh through Latest TDP News. The vision of Nara Chandrababu Naidu was clearly witnessed by the opposite parties and by the people throughout the state of united Andhra Pradesh. There are many times when the opposition of the TDP used to make a swap on the ongoing work and made many allegations about the TDP and the Leadership of the then Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu. With the help of many Great TDP Leaders the Government of TDP went on to complete every Irrigation project as promised to the people of Andhra Pradesh. TDP MLAs and many great Leaders of TDP helped and contributed to the success of these Irrigation projects without any obstacles coming their way. The completion of these Irrigation projects is said to be some of the Greatest Achievements of TDP and is the best of the TDP Contributions done for the betterment of the agricultural fields and for the Future of the Agricultural lands across the state of United Andhra Pradesh.
Agreement on Lendi Project:
In the presence of our Chief Minister Shri Chandrababu Naidu and Chief Minister of Maharashtra Shri Sushil Kumar Shindela, an agreement was signed between the two states on November 18 this year. The estimated cost of the Lendi project is Rs. 275.83 crores. Andhra Pradesh state share is Rs. 117.86 crores. Maharashtra's share is 157.97 crores. Due to this project, eleven to one-four hectares in our state will be irrigated to 15710 hectares in Maharashtra. Our state government handed over a check of 12.98 crores to the Maharashtra government.
