Jared McBrearty is a Connecticut native who has spent most of his life in central Connecticut, building his career from the ground up. He began working at just 11 years old, taking on odd jobs and picking vegetables on a local farm during the summers. By 16, Jared entered the construction industry through concrete work, where his dedication and leadership helped him rise to foreman and later supervisor roles at multiple companies.
In 2011, he launched his first concrete construction business. When winter seasons slowed work, he partnered with a close friend to take on interior renovations—laying the foundation for what would become A1 Home Improvement. Over the past 15 years, Jared gradually shifted toward home renovations and property investments, specializing in house flips.
He officially joined A1 Home Improvement in 2022, helping grow revenue by four to five times while expanding roofing, siding, and window divisions. Jared contributes across marketing, sales, and installation improvements and is passionate about mentoring others in both career and life. An avid reader and lifelong learner, he prefers books over television. In 2024, A1 Solar launched and quickly became a trusted solar contractor in Connecticut, backed by decades of construction expertise and seasoned solar professionals.
