Our 10-day Helambu trek starts after you arrive in Kathmandu, you will have a day sightseeing tour in Kathmandu valley and we will set out to Helambu trekking. On the first day, you will have a short scenic drive from Kathmandu to Sundarijal, the drinking water reservoir of Kathmandu inside Shivapuri National Park, where a new pipeline is under-construction to pump water from Melamchi.
From Sundarijal, you will climb up to the entry point of Shivapuri National Park and continue through Chisapani then enter into Kutumsang, and subsequently continue trekking to Tharepati pass (3,650 m), from where you will have sweeping views of Kathmandu valley and range of mountains and then continue trekking to Tarkeghyang and then finally enter into Helambu. You will spend your days exploring all around and after having an excursion all around, you will retrace down to Shermathan, subsequently to Melamchi Pul Bazaar, and then catch a bus to return to Kathmandu.
