ISO 22000 Certification is awarded to the systems and processes that have implemented the Food safety management system according to ISO 22000 standard. It provides a framework for establishing a food safety management system that incorporates the elements of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) as well as that of ISO 9001 Certification. It enlists the general requirements of food safety which is acceptable internationally. This standard can be applied to all the organizations along the food supply chain starting from farm up until the fork.
