Worktops are an essential part of any kitchen and bathroom. They are a surface not simply to place various articles, one may do any type of work on top of them. For instance, chopping vegetables or meat for cooking, blending or mixing something for baking etc are done on worktops. Large blocks of granite are taken out of quarries using various methods. Sometimes they are chiselled out, sometimes drilled and at times blasted too. The result of this is large granite blocks. Then they are cut into smaller slabs using milling machines. These slabs can then be specifically carved to suit the shape and size of kitchens as needed. Granite Worktops Essex is popular for a reason. Granite worktops are easy maintenance. As they are sealed after installation, they become essentially stain resistant. This makes it so that it requires only minimal cleaning. Unlike other worktops, it does not require heavy bleach or cleaning solutions. It can be cleaned with soap and water. It will need to be sealed once a year, and more if it is used more heavily.
