The Turkey eVisa application process is designed to be completed electronically for eligible travelers.
Step 1: Check Eligibility
Visit the Turkish e-Visa application system and select your nationality and travel-document information. The system will determine whether you can continue with an e-Visa application and display any additional conditions that apply.
Step 2: Enter Travel Information
Provide your intended travel date and requested information. Carefully compare the information you enter with your passport.
Step 3: Review Your Application
Before payment, review the application thoroughly. Incorrect personal or passport information can cause problems because information on a processed e-Visa cannot simply be changed. The e-Visa system states that the information on the visa must correspond exactly with the travel document.
Step 4: Make Payment
Eligible applicants can pay the applicable e-Visa fee online using accepted credit or debit cards. The system states that Mastercard, Visa, and UnionPay cards can be used, subject to the applicable payment conditions.
Step 5: Receive Your eVisa
After successful completion, a link to download the e-Visa is provided and the document is also sent to the email address supplied during the application. Travelers are advised to keep a digital or printed copy available during their journey.
Turkey Visa Fees
Turkey visa fees are not necessarily the same for every traveler. The applicable e-Visa fee depends on nationality and is displayed during the application process after selecting the relevant travel-document information.
The e-Visa system states that the fee is charged in U.S. dollars, although an equivalent amount in local currency may be deducted from the applicant's account.
Because visa fees and eligibility conditions can change, travelers should check the amount displayed during their application instead of relying on old visa-fee articles or third-party lists.
