Inconel 601 Fasteners are specially built for use in highly corrosive and hot temperature conditions. They are made of a nickel alloy with an addition of chromium that imparts excellent resistance to corrosion, heat, and oxidation. Nickel helps retain the material's ductility even after prolonged exposure and also has good high-temperature strength. This metal grade allows the formation of a strong and compact layer of oxide which protects the metal from flaking even under severe thermal cycling conditions. These are mostly used in applications where a very high level of surface stability and mechanical stress is essential. Moreover, these fasteners are very resistant to carburization and provide solid creep rupture strength. On top of that, they also show good resistance against aqueous corrosion. Besides possessing outstanding mechanical properties, these fasteners can be easily machined and formed. Both hot and cold working methods were used to produce these fasteners and they can be easily welded by welding practices. Inconel 601 Fasteners can be found in various industries such as chemical processing, power generation, aerospace, fabricated combustion, radiant tubes, research and development sector, defense, development industries, Petrochemical industry, nuclear industry, to name a few. Vision Alloys is India's leading manufacturer of Inconel 601 Fasteners and their respective grades in India, USA, Brazil, Chile, and Argentina.
Vision Alloys has gained a reputation as an excellent manufacturer of Inconel 718 Fasteners along with their respective grades and we also offer a customization facility where clients can place orders according to their exact dimensional measurements and with size difference. The 718 alloys are the most widely used fasteners of the hard Incoloy nickel grade. Besides Chromium and nickel which are the main elements of the alloy, materials produced by precipitate hardening, have excellent strength and corrosion resistance. ASTM B637 UNS N07718 Bolts, being the trade name of alloy 718, are primarily utilized for natural gas processing and the nuclear industry. However, when a grade is exposed to elements such as CO2 (Carbon Dioxide) and H2S (Hydrogen Sulfide) combined with water, it develops components like carbonic acid or sulfur. These freely formed components are deposited on the surface or wall of the equipment, leading to stress corrosion cracking. But after all, there is no effect of such elements that UNS N07718 Bolting is highly suitable for natural gas processing and wellhead instrumentation.
