This is where Multisig comes in.
Multisig or Multisig pallet can be used with IP voting tokens. Multisig is an additional layer of security, requiring more than one key to authorise a transaction. With InvArch, different users can have a percentage of IP tokens bound to an IP set, as in our example above. In this case more than 50% ownership or multi-signature is required to authorise changes.

Multisignature provides cooperation, security and decentralisation at the same time.

Of course, in larger DAOs with several hundred members things can be much more complicated. Such is the case with @YoudleDAO, an NFT project designed as a DAO, which will demonstrate the fantastic potential of InvArch's IP and NFT technology. But the principle is the same:

50% ownership or Multisig is needed to authorise changes.

Multisig is a way for DAOs or businesses to implement board decisions; using Multisig, a business can manage its treasury in a decentralised way.
However, InvArch Multisig can most often be used as a kind of 2FA, allowing multiple parties to sign a single transaction.
This becomes even more interesting as we can apply this technology seamlessly to every NFT. This becomes one of IP Set's most powerful features, namely the multi-sig ownership solution that InvArch provides over NFTs and NFT collections. At InvArch, NFTs are DAOs, right out of the box. This is amazing news for every NFT artist and creator. They can design the royalties of their NFTs the way they like, and influence their work in the future by using multisig in collaboration with the user they sell to.
On Twitter, the InvArch team was happy to share that multi-signature accounts are indeed improved and innovative in the InvArch network, as the Multisig issue on Polkadot, where multi-signature accounts (in the current iteration of Polkadot) cannot be changed once created, as the address is formed from the addresses of members, has been resolved. In InvArch, multisig addresses are generated from IP Set IDs. Thus, the multisig address will never change, but the rights, ownership tokens (IPTO) can simply be transferred to another user. The creation and functionality of a multisig account is much simpler, faster and easier in InvArch. While the multi-sig functionality on InvArch is currently done through polkadot.js, in the future a well-designed front-end user interface will be created that will provide users with a fast and seamless user experience!

Without expanding too much, it's worth mentioning that as part of the OCIF (On-Chain-Innovation-funding) protocol, users will be able to get some IP tokens through IP farming. IP Tokens Farming - as an alternative to IP Bootstrapping and a way to establish liquidity and distribute IP Set tokens. Users can allocate a portion of their bidding fee to an IP Set in exchange for a portion of the IP tokens of that IP Set. For the original IP owner, this could be a much more attractive and decentralised way of funding their idea.

A world in which IP innovation, funding and social collaboration can exist hand in hand without the burden of trust. That is the mission.

With IP Tokens, creating a “percentage ownership right” allows users to own diverse IP Sets for a particular share.

IP Sets can utilize IP Tokens similarly to how dApps and smart contracts interact with their utility tokens. In addition, they are indeed “magical” because they can streamline royalty shares over any IP opening the door to trustless, decentralized collaboration.

In other words, with InvArch, every project, any IP can become a DAO (a decentralized autonomous organization).

To illustrate, the following is an example from Co-founder and Head of Development, Gabriel Facco de Arruda on how and why a SmartIP contract is created:

Alice needs funding to build her time machine, and Bob comes along, offering the money she needs and asking for 10% ownership of the IP. She created a SmartIP and sent Bob 10% of the IP tokens. Now the IP is owned by a collective of accounts; Bob owns 10% of the IP and Alice 90%.

Now, let’s expand this example: Bob’s funds weren’t enough to develop such an auspicious project, and Alice needs three other investors, a developer, and a manager. Alice finds them and decides to start a DAO offering each of them 10% ownership of the IP, i.e. 10% of the IP tokens, to help her dream of a time machine become reality. In the end, Alice holds 40% of the IP tokens and the other six collaborators each 10%.

Opinion
I am very glad to be a part of such a friendly and mastable project, and I really believe in what I am writing about, that the team will be able to realize all its ideas and become not only one of the most important projects of Polkadot ecosystem, but also of the whole crypto-world in general! Addendum from myself I am very happy to be a part of such a friendly and mastable project, and I really believe in what I am writing about, that the team will be able to implement all its ideas and become not only one of the most important projects of Polkadot ecosystem, but also of the whole crypto-world in general!
