Jared McBrearty is a Connecticut native who has spent most of his life in central Connecticut, building a career grounded in hard work and long-term vision. His journey began at just 11 years old, doing odd jobs and working summers on a farm picking vegetables—early experiences that shaped his strong work ethic.
At 16, Jared entered the construction industry through concrete work, steadily working his way up to foreman and later supervisor roles at multiple companies. In 2011, he launched his first concrete construction business. When winter seasons slowed production, he adapted by moving into interior renovations with a close friend, who later became his co-owner at A1 Home Improvement.
Over the past 15 years, Jared has shifted toward home renovation and property investment, specializing in house flips. He officially joined A1 Home Improvement in 2022, helping grow company revenue by four to five times while strengthening roofing, siding, and window divisions.
In 2024, A1 Solar was launched and quickly became a trusted solar contractor in Connecticut. Beyond business, Jared is a mentor, avid reader, devoted father, and active community member—committed to giving back and helping others build better lives.
