Jo Ha-rim won the women's 3000m steeplechase at the 2024 Hokuren Distance Challenge 5th Competition held at the Aoba Athletics Stadium in Chitose, Hokkaido, Japan, crossing the finish line with a time of 10 minutes 01.99 seconds.
He shortened the previous Korean record of 10 minutes 06.42 seconds, which he set at the National Sports Festival in October last year, by 4.43 seconds.
