Got ARC from Net Galley

When I found out this was available as read now I jumped at the chance to read it because of the way the first book ended. Has it become illegal to do stand alones? I'm not sure if there are other books coming but this seemed like an ending to me. I think it would have been great as a stand alone but this is one of the authors I read so of course I'm going to keep reading.

This picks up where the first book left off so if you haven't read it this would be your cue to leave and read the first book. With Melvin on the loose Gwen and Sam are desperate to find him. I am glad that the hunt for Melvin was the main focus instead of romance. There's some in the book but it isn't overpower so if you aren't into romances you might enjoy this book since it isn't a part of the main plot.

I will admit that I yelled at this book. There were certain characters I wanted to slap sense into. The scary thing about this book is how true to life it is. The stuff going down in this book can and does happen which is absolutely chilling to think about.  If you're a fan of thrillers this is the book for you. It was very easy for me to get into it so it wasn't a chore for me to read. I had to put it down when a certain character pissed me off because of how this person was responding to a situation even though it made sense for this person to be acting that way. If you want to find out what I'm talking about you'll just have to read it for yourself and see if you know what I'm talking about since I apparently have the skill of easily confusing people.
