The Langtang circuit trek is one of the most popular trekking holidays in the Langtang region, has been a popular and frequently organized trekking as it takes all around the Langtang valley, Gosainkunda, Helambu and offers you numerous fascinations including amazing up-close views of mountain vistas, impressive landscapes, and cultural richness, all these are worth exploring.
During the Lantang circuit trek, you will have an amazing up close view of the mountain vista, especially from Lantang valley, the narrow mountain valley which is sandwiched between a snowy mountain range namely mighty Langtang Lirung (7,246 m) which stands just right to the north, and Gang Chhenpo (6,388 m) and another trekking peak Naya Kangri (5,846 m) lie just at the south of the valley, the Ganjala Pass (5,122 m) and Dorge Lakpa (6,989 m) lie to the east at the end of the valley.
A myth is that Langtang valley was said to have been discovered by the Lama, the priest following a runaway yak. The term ‘Lang’ means ‘Yak’ in the Tibetan language, whereas the term ‘tang’ means ‘to follow, and thus during the trek, you will pass through the yak pasture and also encounter the yak.
We have 16 days for the Langtang circuit trek including your arrival and departure days to and from Nepal, the trek starts with a sightseeing tour in Kathmandu, then we will take a drive to Syaprubesi and excursion around the Langtang valley, then the trail swings south to Thulo Syabru and then trek to the holy Gosainkunda Lakeside located at the altitude of 4,360-meter height, after having excursion all around, the trail then takes you back down to the beautiful Helambu valley which is rich in Buddhist cultural heritages, distinctive religious practices, languages, and dress which is much more similar to those of Tibet and undoubtedly.
You will trek through Nepal’s first National Parks, the Langtang national park where you will have an opportunity to savor the amazing natural beauty, diverse flora and fauna, and so forth.
