Travelling is one of the most exciting things a person can do in life because it teaches us so many things that we can never learn only by sitting inside our classroom. When we travel to a new place, we see new people, new markets, different kinds of food, and also new nature views which makes us feel very happy. I always feel excited about travelling since my childhood because my parents also love visiting new places and they tell me interesting facts about places before we go there.

My first travel memory is from when I was very young and my parents took me to Lucknow for a family wedding. I remember seeing big buildings, and delicious food everywhere, especially kebabs. At that time, I did not understand much about culture, but now when I look back, I realize that every city has something special. After that, every year I try to visit at least one new place. I believe travelling is a great way to spend time with family and friends and also learn new ideas about how people live differently from us.

Travelling also gives us confidence. When we go to a new location, we learn how to adjust to weather, time, food habits, and even languages. Sometimes people speak differently than us, so we have to talk politely and try to understand them. It makes us kind and patient. Sometimes while travelling, everything does not happen perfectly. Maybe our train gets late or the weather becomes rainy, but travelling teaches us to stay calm and enjoy whatever we have. That is why my teachers also say that travel is an important part of real education.

One of the most exciting things about travelling is nature. When I went to Nainital last year, I saw beautiful mountains, tall trees, and a lake that looked like a real painting. I also learned that many people visit hill stations during summer because it is very hot in the plains. The weather was very cool in Nainital and I even wore a warm jacket. I touched the cold lake water and felt like staying there forever. The fresh air made me feel very peaceful. Sometimes, when I study geography in school, I think about the places I actually visited and it becomes easier for me to remember.

Another interesting part of travelling is food. Every place has its own famous food. In Varanasi, we ate chaat and rabri. In Delhi, we tried chole bhature. In Rajasthan, I tasted dal baati churma. Food tells us about the culture and climate of a place. For example, Rajasthan is very dry, so their food is made in a special way that can be stored for long time. In hill areas, people eat food that gives more energy because the climate is cold. So, travelling is not just fun, it also teaches us a lot if we observe carefully.

Now, I want to share something I learned recently about travelling. When families plan a big trip, it is not easy to manage everything like tickets, hotels, sightseeing places, and transportation. That is why many people take help from travel agents in gorakhpur and other big cities too. They make complete plans, book hotels and give information about best places, so travelling becomes easier for families. I think their job is very useful because sometimes parents are too busy to plan every small detail. In the future, I want to learn more about how travel agents plan everything so nicely.

I also believe travelling teaches us to respect our country. India is very big and has so many states and cultures that even if we travel our entire life, we will still have something new left to explore. When we visit different states, we see how people celebrate festivals differently and still live together happily. In South India, Pongal is an important festival, in West Bengal people celebrate Durga Puja with so much excitement, and in Punjab people enjoy Lohri. Every festival has its own colours and music, which makes our country very rich in culture.

When I visited Agra, I saw the Taj Mahal for the first time. I always read about it in my book but seeing it with my own eyes was magical. The white marble looked shining under the sunlight. I learned that Shah Jahan made it for his wife Mumtaz, which shows love and history. I also felt proud that such a beautiful wonder exists in our country and many foreigners come to India to see it. That day I realized that monuments tell stories about our history and traditions.

Sometimes travelling also makes us more responsible. We learn not to throw plastic, keep tourist places clean, and behave kindly with other visitors. Tourist spots are not only natural places, but they are also part of our national heritage. If tourists do not keep them clean, the place can become dirty and people will stop coming there. So, every student must learn that cleanliness is important while travelling. Whenever I go somewhere, my parents tell me to carry a dustbin bag and keep trash inside until we find a proper dustbin.

One of my favourite travelling memories was going to Darjeeling. The toy train ride was very enjoyable and it felt like a small adventure through clouds and mountains. I saw long tea gardens that were spread everywhere like a green carpet. The tea workers looked very hardworking and I felt respect for them. My mother told me that many countries buy tea from India because Indian tea is very famous. I also bought tea packets for my grandparents.

I also want to talk about safety while travelling. My parents always tell me that when we travel, we should take care of our bags, mobile, and important documents. We should not talk to strangers too much or go to unknown places alone. They also advise carrying medicines, water bottles, and extra clothes. Safety is very important especially when kids are travelling. So, before going anywhere, we should always make a checklist so that nothing important is forgotten.

Sometimes travelling can be expensive, so we must plan it properly. My father says that if we save little money every month, then we can plan a trip once or twice in a year. Some families plan trips during school holidays. Some people take help from travel agents in gorakhpur, especially during festival seasons when booking becomes difficult. I think planning helps in saving money, time and tension. When everything is planned, the journey becomes more enjoyable.

In conclusion, I would say travelling is an amazing part of life and everyone should travel whenever they get time. It teaches us knowledge, nature, culture, confidence, manners and responsibility. It makes us good human beings and gives us memories that stay with us forever. Travelling is not only entertainment, it is real learning and I hope in the future I can travel to many more beautiful places in India and outside India too.
