Oman is set to witness a major push towards legal sector modernisation with the Oman Legal Tech Summit 2026 scheduled to take place on February 9 and 10 at the Sheraton Oman Hotel in Muscat. Presented by HAQQ Legal AI, the summit is positioned as the Sultanate’s leading legal technology conference and is aligned with Oman Vision 2040, the national roadmap focused on economic diversification, institutional development and digital transformation.

The two-day event aims to accelerate the adoption of technology across legal systems to enhance legal workflows, strengthen compliance and risk management frameworks, and improve access to justice. Organisers said the summit will serve as a platform for dialogue and collaboration between government entities, law firms, corporate legal departments and technology providers operating in the legal and regulatory space.

The programme will feature keynote addresses, expert panel discussions, interactive workshops and technology demonstrations by industry practitioners and solution providers. More than 50 speakers and 30 legal technology companies are expected to participate, with over 500 delegates projected to attend from Oman and across the GCC.

Participants are expected to gain practical insights into emerging legal technologies, including artificial intelligence-driven legal automation, contract lifecycle management systems, digital compliance solutions and secure data governance platforms. Discussions will also focus on how these tools are reshaping traditional legal practices and improving efficiency within law firms, corporate legal teams, courts and regulatory bodies.
