Korea won double-digit gold medals in six consecutive competitions from the 1988 Seoul Games to the 2008 Beijing Games, but fell into a dark period after that. It only won nine gold medals at the 2012 London Games and seven at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Games.
At the 2020 Tokyo Games held in 2021, it only won two gold medals and ranked 41st overall. It was the lowest ranking in 53 years since the first Tel Aviv Games in 1968. Korea, which is trying to restore its honor, has set its goal for this Games to win at least 5 gold medals and enter the top 20 in the overall ranking. 카지노사이트
