Question: When I try to push the basket in, it gets caught, so I have to wriggle it in by moving it around. I'm confident that I'll be able to get it out without difficulty. Is that the case?

Answer: I simply shove it in. After a few months, I'm attempting to be kinder. Maybe all you need to do is line it up and give it a shove. While pushing the basket in, I grip the back of the unit.

Question: How do you get oil off of your clothes? I've always kept a grease container in my kitchen. When preparing a lot of bacon, these slits are useless.

Answer:

Grease accumulation is a problem. I don't allow a lot of stuff build up in the basket, and I don't jiggle it. I pour it onto a pan before transferring it to a jar. The basket is frequently washed in the dishwasher.
