Melanie Rawn: I enjoyed her Dragon Prince trilogy and her Dragon Star trilogy. Unless you want to drive yourself insane steer clear of the Exiles "trilogy" because the third book which was supposed to come out in 1996. I think I saw something about Brandon Sanderson being a fan so I don't know what she didn't have him finish it since he's done it before. I haven't yet read her Glass Thorns series but I will. As for the other series I think one or possibly more was cancelled.
Robert Jordan: If you're a big fantasy fan the Wheel Of Time series is for you. If you're not afraid of big books. This series is complete thanks to Brandon Sanderson There are fifteen books.
Kim Harrison: I love her Hollows series which is about a world where witches, vampires etc live in the world with humans. The series is complete but I think there was a book of short stories that take place in this world. I also plan on checking out the books she wrote under the name Dawn Cook. My theory is that if I like books under one name I'm sure to like them under another. I think there are about six books and they are fantasy.
Seanan McGuire: Sure many people know this name because of her Wayward Children series but she's written quite a few books and this girl is on a roll with a book that just came out in September another coming out in January and yet another coming out in March. I've read the Wayward Children series which is a novela series that is about kids who come back to the real world after being in magical lands like Narnia or Wonderland. The only complaint I have is that they are too short but she packs quite a punch in such a small amount of time.
I discovered her at the library when I was randomly going down the aisles. I came across her October Daye series first. This is an urban fantasy series about October Daye who is half fae and happens to be a PI. If you're a fan of the Dresden Files series you'll probably enjoy this one too. That is a great series too by Jim Butcher. Harry is a wizard and a PI. If you have Kindle Unlimited you can check out her Indexing series.
Kate Elliot: The first series by her I started was the Crown Of Stars series which is fantasy. I believe it is complete and there are seven books. I've also read a few of the Jaran books which are science fiction. If you have the Hoopla app you can find some of her books. She also wrote a YA trilogy that I believe is fantasy. I haven't read that one yet.
Tanya Huff: If you have Kindle Unlimited you can get some of her books like The Fire's Stone and her Quarters quartet. She also has a series called Blood that also has a TV show called Blood Ties that sadly got cancelled after two season. Lifetime was a shitty place to put it. The series is complete and there are five books. It is another series that I think will appeal to Dresden Files fans and October Daye since the main character is a PI but in this case she's human and ends up meeting a vampire. I believe her book called The Fire's Stone has an asexual character. It isn't easy finding them and don't get me started on finding an aroace. That's like finding a unicorn.
Kelley Armstong: I've read a few of her series. I've read a couple of the Nadia Stafford series which is a series about a hit woman. I've read her Darkest Powers trilogy which is a YA series where kids are sent to a hospital and weird shit goes down. I've also read a lot of her Otherworld series that might be complete. It starts off with werewolves but it became more focused on the witches in the book. I haven't finished it all so maybe the werewolves end up playing a bigger role. This is one of those instances where there's a couple that I don't understand being a couple.
R.L. Stine: Okay this name is probably known by most of the planet. I love his Fear Street series which is a bunch of books that are ridiculous and outrageous and just a lot of fun. If you need a quick read and enjoy books that have outrageous storylines this is the book for you. Christopher Pike has similar books that you'll likely enjoy if you enjoy the Fear Street. I'm watching Goosebumps but I'm not really into the books. Richie Tankersley Cusick and Diane Hoh and Caroline Cooney should be checked out too. Chances are you've seen I Know What You Did Last Summer. How about reading the book by Caroline Cooney?
Allison Brennan: She writes I believe it is called Romantic Suspense. She has a series of books featuring the same person that's an FBI agent I believe and she solves cases. There's a hint of romance in the books but the hunt for the killer is the main focus. You can read these out of order but keep in mind that you might be mildly spoiled for other books. If you like Kathy Reichs books you'll probably like this author since it is the same type of scenario. Also if you don't know the TV show Bones that just ended last season is loosely based on the Kathy Reichs books.
L.J. Smith: The Night World series is up in the air since the tenth book that was supposed to come out the same year The Captal's Tower was supposed to come out in 1996 has never come out. I guess she's too busy writing fan fiction to finish it. It is strange because they have really pretty hardcovers of the Night World series but I won't hold my breath on it ever coming out. You've been warned but it is a fun paranormal series. She also wrote The Vampire Diaries at least the sixth of the I believe thirteen books that are out. She didn't own the rights so they took them away from her and of course there's the show. I stopped watching it because I got tired of Stefan always getting shit on and things didn't go much better for Bonnie. I really enjoy the books. They are different from the show especially Bonnie. She also wrote The Secret Circle books. That was also taken from her so I'm not sure about how many of those books she wrote aside from the original trilogy. That is a fun witchy series and there's one season of a TV show to enjoy. The plan was to go to Dollar Tree so I could get some glue dots. I thought I'd give them a try since me and super glue don't seem to mix. I did spot the diamond wrap but didn't get it. I also went down the book aisle since I always do that. You never know what you'll find there because you might find one of your fave authors. I've found a Hollows book which I'm trying to slowly collect in hardcover. I also found Night Film and a book by Jay Kristoff. A guy went down the aisle so I left that aisle.
I was already annoyed because an asshole on a bike was on the sidewalk. Go in the fucking street. You don't see me strolling down the middle of the street expecting and demanded cars to get out of my fucking way. It is especially annoying since most of the sidewalks around here barely qualify as sidewalks. Also my god it was raining stupid people. There was a stupid bitch who was blocking the aisle. So I had to go around because this bitch was in my way. Bitch move to an aisle and get your fat ass somewhere else so I can take my fat ass and get out of the store. It wasn't too crowded but I wasn't really in the mood to wait in line.
On the way to the grocery store I ran into an stupid asshole who got in my fucking way. What is up with stupid people? When I see a person that is on one side I go to the other side so we can pass. Stay in your lane and I'll do the same. Instead this asshole got in my way so I had to move over to the other side. Why are people so fucking stupid? Shit I'm more observant than morons with their noses in phones and people who are just walking. What's their excuse for being stupid? Also here's a tip if you're crossing the street don't keep fucking with your phone. A guy almost ran me off of the crosswalk and into oncoming traffic because he getting in my way because he could take a few lousy seconds to cross a fucking street. And the fun continued with some stupid bitch blocking the sidewalk and yes she was fucking around with her phone. Back the fuck up bitch so I don't have to go into the street because you're too fucking stupid to get out of the way of people who want to go to the fucking store.
The grocery store wasn't too bad. I was able to get my quarters from a woman hanging around the self checkouts. I didn't get the dreadful six which has a total attitude. Bitch when I say I want seventy-five cents back that means I want quarters. I got my spray butter to put on my rolls fresh from the oven at least when I actually put them in the oven. I also got cinnamon crackers to keep me snacky for the weekend. At least doing laundry was painless. I didn't see anyone but there was a wash running when I went in there. I don't bother to put my clothes in the dryer because it is just a waste of money. The one time I did it the clothes weren't really all that much dryer than they were when they were put it. It's not like the clothes are dripping when you take them out of the washing machine. Now I can do the fun rack and half my bed with the remaining clothes all spread out.
