Tata Tiago EV Battery and Range
The Tata Tiago EV comes with two choices of batteries: a smaller one with 19.2 kWh and a larger one with 24 kWh. Both batteries work with an electric motor. For the smaller battery, the motor produces 61 PS/110 Nm, and for the bigger one, it produces 75 PS/114 Nm. The car claims to travel between 250 km to 315 km on a single charge, depending on the battery pack you choose.
Tata Tiago EV Charging
The Tiago EV offers four different charging options to power up its batteries: a 15 A socket charger, a 3.3 kW AC charger, a 7.2 kW AC charger, and a DC fast charger. Charging times vary depending on the chosen method and the battery size. With the 15 A socket charger and the 3.3 kW AC charger, it takes 6.9 hours to fully charge a 19.2 kWh battery and 8.7 hours for a 24 kWh battery, starting from 10% capacity. Meanwhile, the 7.2 kW AC charger significantly reduces charging times to just 2.6 hours for the 19.2 kWh battery and 3.6 hours for the 24 kWh battery. However, the quickest option is the DC fast charger, which takes only 58 minutes to charge from 10% to 80%, regardless of the battery size.
