A BO ID, or Beneficial Owner Identification Number, is a unique 16-digit number assigned to every Demat account holder. It acts as your identity when holding securities in electronic form. The first 8 digits indicate the Depository Participant (DP) ID, while the last 8 digits are exclusive to your account.
